“My Husband Is Not A Rapist” — Pastor Fatoyinbo‘s Wife

“My Husband Is Not A Rapist” — Pastor Fatoyinbo‘s Wife

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo’s wife  has said that the rape allegations by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola against her husband, are all lies.

Busola, the wife of popular singer, Timi Dakolo had alleged that the COZA founder had forcefully raped her when she was young.

The mother-of-three narrated how Pastor Fatoyinbo allegedly forced his way into her when she was a teenager.

Fatoyinbo, however, denied the allegation, though admitted that Busola once attended the same church with his family.

The clergyman consequently ordered his lawyers to institute both criminal and civil cases against Busola.

Speaking in COZA Abuja on Sunday morning, Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo denied allegation against her husband.

According to her, it is impossible for her husband to be a rapist.

She said “My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was an unbeliever, he would not be a rapist.”

Her husband, however, took the microphone from her before she could finish her speech, and said: “the elders are handling the matter.”

Meanwhile there is heavy police and security presence at Abuja headquarters of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA on Sunday morning.

“He Who Laughs Last, Laughs Best” — Atiku Tells Buhari’s Presidency

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar, says he is optimistic about winning the case he has against President Muhammadu Buhari at the tribunal.

Atiku, who is challenging President Buhari’s victory at the polls, says he won the election with about 1.6 million votes according to the results from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) server.

The former president had asked the court for permission to inspect the server. This request was rejected even as INEC claimed that it did not transmit any result for the election through said server.

Reacting to comments credited to President Buhari’s media aides on the matter, Atiku said the recent report by the European Union on the election has justified his position on the polls.

In the light of this, we remind those who are gloating in their ignorance that ‘he who laughs last, laughs best’.

“The last has not been heard of this matter and we eagerly anticipate the actual ruling of the Tribunal when the case proper begins.”

Four Persons Arrested Over N6.8m Allegedly Swallowed By Gorilla At Kano Zoo

Four Persons Arrested Over N6.8m Allegedly Swallowed By Gorilla At Kano Zoo

Four persons are already in police net, as investigation continues into the alleged swallowing of millions by a gorilla.

The Kano State Police Command, on Tuesday, said it has arrested four suspects in connection to the case of a gorilla, which allegedly swallowed N6.8 million at Kano Zoological Gardens, Punch Metro reports.

Spokesman of the Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, who confirmed the arrests, said those arrested, include security officials and the accountant, charging them for negligence.

However, Haruna wondered why such a large sum of money was kept within the Zoological complex for a period of five days during the Sallah period.

”Whoever is found guilty, at the end of investigations would be charged to court for prosecution.”

Contacted, the Managing Director of the Zoological Garden, Umar Yusuf Hashe Katchakobo, said the matter is under investigation, hence he cannot comment on the development.

It should be recalled that a Gorilla recently swallowed N6.8 million at the State Government Zoological garden.

The money was said to be proceeds from gate takings at the Zoological Gardens, which attracted numerous spectators, at the just concluded Eid–el-Fitr (Sallah) celebrations.

Earlier, the Command Spokesman, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said the Police received a distress call, that suspected bandits attacked an employee of the zoo in the night and stole N6.8 million.

The 6Million Was Taken By Armed Robbers, Not Gorilla — Kano Zoo MD

The management of Kano Zoological Garden has denied that the millions of naira stolen from its coffers were swallowed by a gorilla.

The managing director of the government-owned zoo Mallam Umar Yusif Umar said it has no gorilla and that money was stolen by burglars.

“ I was called midnight on Sunday 9th, June, by the head of security that armed robbers burgle our office including the revenue office,” Umar told The Guardian.

“About 6.30am, I left my home for the office and immediately I arrived I met my office and that of all the directors opened.

“Instantly I called the DPO, Sharada police station and reported the case to him. As far as I’m concerned, I suspect theft and nothing close to Gorilla.”

Umar said the money stolen is N6.90 million instead of N6.82 million widely reported.

Corroborating Umar, the Kano police spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, said 10 staff of the zoo, including the accounting officer Lawan Dandadarin, have been arrested and detained.

Haruna told The Guardian that the statement collected from those arrested so far has nothing to do with Gorilla.

“So far, information collected from the suspects suggests armed robbery case and that of negligence,” Haruna said.

BBC Pidgin reported on Friday that Freedom Radio, a Kano-based radio station claimed that a finance officer it spoke to said “a huge Gorilla” sneaked into their office to “swallow” the money.

But the head of current affairs Freedom Radio Nasiru Salisu said the Gorilla story did not emanate from the station.

“We challenge anybody who claimed we break the Gorilla news to come out with prove,” Salisu said.

“We never report such story.

“Like every other person, we notice the information on social media and a reporter was drafted to investigate the matter.”
